What reaches the internet
- Perso has no account, no analytics and no cookies, and no server of its own.
- Your files, notes, calendar and settings are stored in this browser, on this device.
- Perso loads from its host, GitHub Pages or Vercel, and checks it hourly for updates; their logs record each request.
- Setting up intelligence downloads model files from Hugging Face, which sees that request like any website would.
- Apart from loading itself and the example document, Perso's only network code downloads those model files and, with your own key, talks to Berget.
- With your own Berget key on, each question goes to Berget, in Stockholm, with the few passages search finds for it.
- A To do item you assign the Accounts bot then goes to Berget with the names of your files, not their contents.
- A picture you add to a document is kept in Files, beside the document, on this device.
- A picture from the web in a document is shown as its link, and never fetched.
- Mail to hi@suruosh.se is the one place your personal data reaches Suruosh; it is used only to answer you.
